Disc-check has the ability to allow you to copy the activities a vehicle has done to a driver. This would copy the day's work the vehicle has done and put all of the driving, working and rest times on the driver's profile.
Why would I need to do this?
The most common reason for this is if a driver has lost their card. If a driver has lost their card and is waiting for a replacement then all of their working time records will not be recorded. We make life easier for you by letting you copy the vehicle data onto the driver's profile so all of the work the driver has done will update on their Working time & infringements (if any).
This means there should be no missing data for the driver so you are not caught out.
How do I copy the data?
The first thing you need to do is make sure the vehicle has been downloaded so you can see the data for the date in question. To allocate a vehicle you need to:
- Go onto your vehicles
- Select the vehicle
- Go onto Data
- Select the date
- Click the green arrow icon to the right (this will show no driver card inserted or the drivers name if a card was inserted)
- This will show you the amount of work & activities available to copy
- Select the driver dropdown box and select the driver
- Click Confirm
- All of the activities selected will now appear in the driver's data screen.
