The first thing to do is make sure you are using the correct instructions. There are two different types of Digipostpro.
The old Digipostpro is Silver
The new Digipostpro is Black
How to access the settings?
New Digipostpro
First, you would need to access the settings. You do this by pressing enter, enter, ok. This will ask for a pin code. You would need to contact us to get the pin code and you must have the device serial number.
Old Digipostpro
The old Digipostpro is slightly easier to get access to the settings. You must insert a valid company card into the card reader and this will take you directly into the settings.
How do I connect?
Once you are in the settings you would need to follow the below instructions:
- Go into connectivity (if on the old version, this will be under configuration > connection)
- Select server
- The type should be digicentral
- Hostname = dcweb.tachosys.com
- port = 4616
Connecting to the Internet
Once this has been set you would need to connect it to the internet.
- Wifi can be connected through the same connectivity option and then it is a case of selecting your Wifi and putting in the correct password.
- Ethernet would need to be plugged into the side of the device.
- SIM:
- Make sure you go onto the Mobile network option > APN > add an APN.
- The APN name must be EM
- The username and Password must be blank.
- Once these have been added you must select that you are using the EM APN.
So what now?
To confirm this is working you will need to exit the instructions. You will be looking to make sure the device has a connection to the internet and that the globe icon (bottom right corner) does not have an X on it.
If these two icons appear correctly then your device is online and will start transferring data to the correct system.
