Downloading a VU Manually

RDL units allow driver and VU to be downloaded manually as required. Using the steps below you can easily gather the latest data from your vehicle.

1. From within the digidown portal (https://m.digidown.net/portal) you need to click on the number in the digidown RDLs box for the relevant company.

2. One the new screen, locate the RDL you wish to download. The symbol under the VU DL box will be highlighted if the device is online (Requires ignition and active SIM Signal)

3. Select the details you require. The more data you request, the longer the information will take to be downloaded. 

Recommended settings:

• Content: Specified Treps
• Overview: Yes
• Daily Activity Records: Yes
• Days: 28
• Events and Faults: Yes
• Detailed Speed: No
• Technical Data: No

If a speed trace is required, then select all VU to recover all data on the vehicle (could be over 12 months of data). This will take a long duration to complete and the vehicle must remain online for the duration.

Once the download is complete, the file will automatically be forwarded to the endpoint configured for the account.
