The Sims provided by TDi are roaming international sims and sometimes the PRO devices are unable to register the data connection.
Before continuing with the steps below, please ensure your tablet has been updated to the latest firmware available.
Checking your sim is registered correctly
Navigate to the main screen of your tablet and follow the options below to diagnose the most common issues with connectivity:
-> Settings
-> More
-> Mobile Networks
-> Preferred Network type (4g)
-> Access Point Names
Adding the data connection manually
You should have a single record in here relating to the sim card which may contain the wording "em" or "emnify". If not please follow the steps below (even if told you do not have permission):
-> Click the plus at the top right
-> Set name and APN to "em" then click the 3 dots and save.
Upon save your device will then attempt to connect to the network. This could take up to 60 seconds to connect. If you don't see a connection attempt please restart the device, and the signal should then activate.
